New Gloucester Junior Softball won the State Of Maine Title 15 -5 againts Bangor. The girls are now fundraising for their trip to the Regional Tournamnent in West Haver Connecticut. Their will be a bottle drive this Saturday donations can be made at Fat Boys on Route 26 (Halls) and a pig roast Sunday 4-8 pm at Thompson Apple Orchard..watch for more details.... Full Story |

On Thursday, July 22nd, the New Gloucester Junior Softball team (which consists of girls from Gray and New Gloucester) won a nail biter over Westbrook (4-3) to claim the DISTRICT 6 ALL STAR CHAMPIONSHIP. GNG took the early lead in the first when Alex Thompson smashed a double and then scored on a hit by Sam Libby. They added three more runs in the second. Emily Hotham and Breanna Bozutto each singled. Emily scored on a hit by Sandy Ricardi. ... Full Story |

Congratulations on a well played game by both the Braves and the Cardinals. The Braves led by pitcher Josaiha Rotarri, and a plethora of big hits by the entire Braves team proved too much for the Cardinals. It was a great season by all the teams in Major Baseball this year. The Braves team showed their age and experience with a 13-1 record, while the Cards, Rangers, and Red Sox played great with such young players. I see a very bright future ... Full Story |
